Update BIOS

In the beginning, you should check out your BIOS version:

  • Step 3: Note down BIOS Version/Date and SMBIOS Version.

Alternatively:

  • Step 1: Press Windows + R to launch Run.

Next, you have to update the BIOS 

  • Step 1: Launch your web browser and visit your PC manufacturer’s site to download BIOS.
  • Step 2: Put the BIOS file into a bootable USB flash drive.
  • Step 3: Connect the USB flash with the BIOS file to your PC, reboot the computer and press F12.
  • Step 4: On the menu that appears, select USB Storage device and choose Return.
  • Step 5: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the BIOS update.

Repair Install

ISO

  • Step 1: Visit the Microsoft Software Download site for Windows 10.
  • Step 2: Download the Windows ISO file and save it.
  • Step 3: Right-click the ISO file and select “Mount”.
  • Step 4: Double-click the mounted ISO file to start the repair install.
  • Step 5: Wait for your PC to restart.
  • Step 6: Accept the License terms.
  • Step 7: Navigate to Change what to keep > Keep personal files & apps > Next.
  • Step 8: Configure settings to your preferences and click Next.
  • Step 9: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Media Creation Tool

  • Step 1: Open your browser and visit the Microsoft Software Download page.
  • Step 2: Download Media Creation Tool and save it to your computer.
  • Step 3: Right-click Media Creation Tool, pick Run > Yes > Create installation media for another PC > Next.
  • Step 4: Unselect the checkbox next to “use recommended options”.
  • Step 5: Select the language, architecture, and edition.
  • Step 6: Enter your product key if prompted.
  • Step 7: Choose the option to install Windows using a USB flash drive.
  • Step 8: Plug in a USB drive, hit Refresh drive list and select your device.
  • Step 9: Allow Windows to complete the download, click “Finish” and wait as your PC restart.

  • Step 11:  Configure settings to your preferences and click Next.
