SOLVED! Droid Turbo Won’t Connect To Wi-Fi

Droid Turbo Not Connecting To Wi-Fi: Reasons

A Few Fixes 

Restart 

  • Step 1: Press and hold the Power button then tap Power Off. 
  • Step 2: Allow your phone to shut down all the way. 
  • Step 3: Press and hold the Power button then let go the moment the device vibrates.

Note: Depending on the situation, it’s a good idea to restart the Wi-Fi router as well. A lot of models nowadays have a built-in power button that you could use to turn them off/on. Still, if have a hard time locating the power button of your router, feel free to unplug it, wait for a minute and plug it back in. Once the router is up and running, proceed to connect your Droid Turbo to the wireless network and witness the result. 

Turn Wi-Fi Off And On 

  • Step 1: On the home screen, swipe down from top to bottom. 
  • Step 2: Locate the Wi-Fi icon then hit it once to turn Wi-Fi off.
  • Step 3: Hit the Wi-Fi icon again to turn Wi-Fi on.

Enable And Disable Airplane Mode 

  • Step 1: On the home screen, swipe down from top to bottom. 
  • Step 2: Locate the Airplane Mode icon then hit it once to enable Airplane Mode.
  • Step 3: Hit the Airplane Mode icon again to disable Airplane Mode.

Check Out The Passwords 

If your Droid Turbo only struggles to connect to one wireless network, there is a good chance that you have entered the wrong password. For instance, you could have missed some numbers/characters, messed up the uppercase and so on. To be thorough, you should take a look at the password to make sure that you have entered it correctly. Give Distance Some Thought

  • Step 3: If you have yet to reach Recovery Mode, use Volume buttons to bring up Recovery Mode and press the Power button once. If you see No command, press and hold the Power button then hit the Volume Up button. Regardless, in Recovery Mode, use Volume Up/Down buttons to navigate to wipe cache partition then press the Power button. Confirm your decision if prompted. 
  • Step 4: Navigate to the Reboot system now using Volume buttons and press the Power button.
  • Step 5: Determine whether the issue persists. 

Perform A Factory Reset

  • Step 1: Press and hold the Power button then tap Power Off to shut down your phone. 
  • Step 2: Press and hold Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time (Power, Volume Up and Home buttons for Samsung devices) then let go of them as soon as the device vibrates. 
  • Step 3: If you have yet to reach Recovery Mode, use Volume buttons to bring up Recovery Mode and press the Power button once. If you see No command, press and hold the Power button then hit the Volume Up button. Regardless, in Recovery Mode, use Volume Up/Down buttons to navigate to wipe data/factory reset then press the Power button. Confirm your decision if prompted.
